Leaving a Lasting Impact
Mission teams give people the opportunity to experience Imara and get to know the girls, kids and staff in Nanyuki, Kenya. It gives participants the opportunity to serve and work alongside the Kenyan Imara family.
Join a Mission Trip
Imara Mission trips allow the friends and supporters of Imara to experience the project first-hand. You will see how we continue to build a transparent, relationship-centered and prayerful ministry. We work to make the most of mission trippers' gifts and talents that can help Imara moms, children and staff fulfill the Imara mission. Focus areas include: infant/child development, job skills, career exploration, staff development, family and parenting skills, health, worship, art, music, farming and home improvement projects.

Glen & Shirley, Gordon & RaeAnn, Jim & Judy
The Imara House gave the Spokane Team a warm welcome! Dancing, singing and of course, cake. Babies were rocked and birthdays celebrated. Work was done: sandbox for the kids, full week of skills training, medical training, and rooms painted.
A Look Back at Mission Trips
Mission Teams have been visiting Imara House since it opened in December of 2012. The outpouring of time, money, talent and people has been extraordinary and has created a huge impact on all of Imara moms, children, staff and the local community. Thank you all who have served!
