July 17 - August 17, 2020

Imara International is ready to host our 9th Annual Charity Golf Tournament with a virtual twist!  Play with your favorite foursome, at your favorite course and you pick the date. Play locally, compete globally.

Join Us for a Round of Golf!

Golf courses are now open and many of you are playing safe, social distanced golf. We are asking golfers to play a round for Imara! Pull together a foursome or sign up your league team.  Each team member will register at Eventbrite with a $100 requested entry fee. The fee is 100% deductible. Then download the 18Birdies.com app to handicap the course and track your score. Strokes (instead of string) are for sale at $25 each that will be deducted off your gross score, to keep it all fun. Check out the Imara Leaderboard and see what the competition is doing from coast to coast or around the globe.

Support Our Imara Teen Moms

Not a golfer? Help us support Imara moms by donating now! We have moms and children (two babies!) on site at Imara House. And although some of our teens and their children have been ordered “home”, we continue to support them with food, medicine and other needs. We need your help. Please consider donating as we make our way through the COVID-19 crisis in Kenya.

Highlights of the 2019 Tournament

As play progressed at Rush Creek Golf Club, cheers erupted at the 7th hole. BMW of Minnetonka and PGA Tour Superstore had sponsored hole-in-one contests. Rob Smolund, a member of the Midwest Immunology foursome, had made a hole-in-one! Rob won a BMW M40i two year lease and a $1,000 shopping spree at the PGA Tour Superstore. By the way, his team came in first for the tournament.

Rob did not really need another car so in lieu of the car lease he accepted $10,000. Rob then donated $5,000 of it to Imara International. What a great example for others to follow.
